i live in pittsburgh, pistolvania. haha but yea im going on a ski club trip up there in 2 weeks and i just want to sieze everything the beast has to offer. i went up last year but stayed in the parks mostly so i wanted to check out more of the mountian.

so what do i need to check out trails and glade wise? and i guess anything else. were staying in rutland so maybe some good food around there too

On killington peak check out julio for glades. it's off of bear trax skiers right off the k1 gondola.

in rutland check out table 24, and johnny boy's pancake house.

theres some really nice antique stores if ur into that, and im gonna be there when you are LOL, if you go up superstar lift theres some fun glades, and the glades by double dipper are really fun as well, but anyone know where theres good backcountry there? i really wanna hit some kewl shiit while im thurr

if you cruise around skye peak and bear mountain, you should find yourself pretty entertained, and lots of fun in the woods. check out the stash if you want a challenge jib wise, the wooden jibs are pretty fun.i'll also second table 24 in rutland.

Go to the Long Trail Pub in Bridgewater sooooo good. As far as glades go, Devils Den, Centerpiece, Growler, Julio, Anarchy, and a wicked fun trail Roundabout

even on a normal day it's fun

it's so worth the miles of icy bumps in order to get to the small cliff band in the middle

devils fiddle if its open. As your skiing down, there are some trees on your right. outer limits is a must. Needles eye lift line (the trail under the needles eye chair) is always good for some bumps and is absolutely amazing on powder days. catwalk is fun if its open and you dont mind hiking a little. Superstar is a legendary trail yet nothing amazing. Ovation is good. If you just feel like going fast then straight line cruise control, skye burst or panic button.

As your going down panic button/needles eye, about half way down you'll see where the old trail used to cut across. Go towards the skiers right to the trees and hop in. Its alota fun up there. There are also some good trees in the canyon but i forget the name of the trail.

Honestly, theres too many to name. I"m actually here right now and about to go skiing in a little so if i remember anything ill post again

oh shit just remembered. If your looking for some sick bumps but not too steep head over to south ridge area. I can spend hours lapping jug and jug handle over there.

Second for fiddle. Also keep an eye out for Devil's Den, it's off to the right from fiddle. Big Dipper is always fun too. Downdraft to Cascade, or Escapade to Cascade for some possibly lesser traveled routes. Great Eastern all the way down for a nice afternoon run, too.

great eastern is painful. i always park at skyeship to save extra driving and skiing back to my car is heinous

Haha true that, but it depends how you look at it. I've always enjoyed flying down late in the day. If you know the way to go you never have to push either. It should be warned that it can get icy and crowded late in the day, though.

yes about 3/4 of the way through when heading away from the gondola you can drop down and cut all those switchbacks through the trees and it's sweet
