Killington is opening on Friday

Drove 8 hours today with a few buddies only to be told they took out the park section for the day.

We checked the website the same morning and it said 4 features.. We managed to regroup with a bunch of freeskiers and set one of the rail on the side of the trail. Douchebag patrol comes over, doesn't even listen to any of us (we were very calm, everyone had a smile on their face except said patrol) and stomps the shit out of our kicker, coming in every run to make sure no one was hitting it.

Every staff member out there was so nice and chill, yet this scumbag managed to ruin everything for us. We have a video of him and his shitty attitude, sending it in soon for some bad publicity. The dude kept yelling "Everything on the internet is NOT TRUE" when we referred to the webpage infos. If any of you went up today, you know it was the perfect weather to film and we wouldn't have drove all the way down to Killington if it wasn't for the features they advertised.
 
Shit man, I should've posted something saying they took some stuff out. When they closed on Sunday they had the box removed already, didn't know they were taking all the features out though.

I was so happy because I knew I could hit all the features hahaha. Still worth it just for the waffles though.
 
That's what it sounds like, but I can't find anything mentioning it after a quick google search. Accidental leak?
 
I am very intrigued about this. I googled for a fair amount of time and could not find anything about it. It must be something they will announce soon if it's happening.
 
Seeing as mods moved my thread, Ill post this here. Bretton woods is opening this weekend (11/9 -11/10) just for the weekend. On sat they are doing 19.73 $ tickets in honor of their 40th anniversary. Their facebook rep said they would have park features open on the one trail they will be opening. Check my thread in New England regional, Ill be there on sat! =)
 
park was super fun, tgeres a flat tube, down flat, down rail, flat box, flat down rail, dfd, down rail and propane tank. got really icy today though, it was packed but you can ski top to bottom now
 
It was a good time. Got fucking crowded and icy but good vibes. Everyone was killing it, I was just eating shit all over the place
 
saturday was maybe 15 to 20 at the worst, but today they opened up another lift so the crowds spread out, wasnt busy at all. supposed to snow again tonight id say its worth it
 
Snowed all day, maybe three or four inches. Got skied out mostly but it was soft and fun all day. Still snowing/slushy in the town of killy
 
headed up tuesday night to ski wednesday...anyone know where i can get the cheapest decent room to crash for the night? cheapest im seeing is like $80
 
I saw a dude in the chairlift ride forum with a free couch... I booked a room on kayak.com for $57 for the wednesday night before thanksgiving. Making the 4 hour day trip from southeastern ny with benedetto tomorrow though
 
oh cool thanks but im coming up with a friend. $57 is a good deal for the night before thanksgiving ill look on kayak next time. Have fun tmrw..mt snow is my limit for a day trip im in long island killington is 5 1/2 hrs for me
 
econo lodge in mendon we stayed there over the weekend, not the best hotel ive ever been to but ill bet it was pretty cheap
 
Any body from southern CT willing to take a weekday trip to Killington let me know?

Disclaimer: I'm old, and suck at park. That needs to change.
 
It wasn't even in the park lol. Friend told me I was hauling, somehow hit a tree, broke my wrist and possibly a bone in ny hand, good times all around
