Killington is opening on Friday

theyre gonna need to blow a ton of snow to keep there promise of not closing then re-openingthe killington site says its for passholder people so im not wasting $100 in gas and tickets for 1 trail still pumped though

On that note though, Mad River in Ohio got their first snow. YES in OH!!!
 
They said they are hoping to have some in on Saturday. Either way I'm going to be there since I live 20 minutes away.
 
That's pretty damn impressive. It really hasn't been that cold except for the past few nights. Finally getting some snow up high in the adirondacks.

No way. I just got so stoked and i'm definitely making the 4 hour trip up on saturday and sleeping in the newly acquired ski wagon for sunday too

yesssss! yea its crazy but ive gone up to Killys opening day 3 years and i live almost 6 hrs away. Still worth it to me. They usually have 2 rails but even if they dont its not bad.

I figure i can wait one more week, get my shit ready. Ill be there next Saturday if anyone wants to get up

I'll be there next Friday if they are open and have some rails in. There early season rails along with the 2 for 1 make if the perfect way to start the ski season.

They are actually open at 1:30 today for season pass holders. Check their website for more details, I'm on mobile so it's a paint for me to do it.
 
sunday river won't pull the 330 thing. They however are going to push for open for tomorrow. All my friends are blowing up facebook about getting back to work back east.
 
they opened at 1:30 today for pass holders! The word is Rumor will be opening Sat with some features set up..... lets see if that actually happens!
 
YEAH! Ski season has officially started here on the beast coast. I heard from the dudes on the killington parks FB page that there WILL be features up saturday, and that snow depth will determine what and how many features will be goin in.
