But only a few trails of course.. TAKE THAT WEST COAST. And only season pass holders can ski. This is gonna be a hell of a winter.

well considering killington is a really big mountain for the east coast, open right now, will close in late april or so, cant get much better for parks than killington, hosts the dew tour stops, breeds some of the best park skiers out, id say your intire statement is false big guy

shall we break this down.

"open right now"- well true, but not really. its gonna close again this week. rendering the mountain closed.

"will close in late april or so"- okay cool, we go till july 4th with a decent snow year.

"cant get much better for parks than killington"- k, how bout breck, keystone, vail, copper, aspen,....

"hosts the dew tour stops" - no it dont. that now only in breck.

"breeds some of the best park skiers out" - doesnt mean shit. good skiers come from everywhere.

FIGHT ME BITCH. i will win..

I'm with DERS. Plus OP asked for it by calling out the West Coast, and so we are obliged to prove him wrong instead of joyfully sharing his stoke.

Take it easy man. We get that the west is better, there is no debating that. Can't you just leave us eastcoasters alone let us be stoked that we can ski in october?

haha no worries im jus fuckin round witchall. that came off way more agressive/defensive as i intended. im stoked for you guys. skiing is the shit. get off newschoolers and go to killy and ski my man!

as long as no east coasters try and claim shit. The best mountain in the east is worse than the worst mountain in the west

Shut up Dave. Just cuz ur kewl and out in Montana (have fun getting raped by an elk) doesn't mean you can bash our "fake" snow

Sadly killington is indeed just a hill in comparison to mountains out west. That doesnt mean we dont slay as hard though. Its not even like killingtons vertical drop (3,200ft) is any smaller than most west coast areas so west coasters you can resume wacking off to vail and breck.

haha I was kind of kidding, I skied Sunday river opening day the last 2 years. Also if anyone is going to get raped by an elk it will be Joe

Pfft, I'll would wait till february to ski and ski Squaw Valley USA Home of the 1960 Olympic Winter Games than ski Killington, ever.

read what I said after that, I grew up on man made snow. I think the mountain I had a pass at last year maybe got 2 feet of natural snow all year

to all of you claiming the west coast. oh well. i had a season in the westocast and in the eastcoast and while i was impressed with the mountains and parks in the west i actually had a much funner season in the eastcoast and progressed alot more.

it really doesnt have to do with the biggest mountain or the best snow or best features to measure the ammount of fun the skiing can be. eastcoast preseason may just be a little bit of vertical and a few boxes. But i LOVE it like that!!

stoked killy, sunday river wont be far behind

Good post, fully agreed. The first days of the year are some of the most fun, simply because of the stoke.

So Killington is much smaller than mountains out west but most mountains out west have the same vertical? Wut?

OP you're bringing the hate upon your own thread by telling us western we'd to suck it. Ye ask ye shall receive. Anyways get after it. Frat days are the shit. I can't wait for opening day here.

Yessir yo, so much fun seshing rails and smoking doobies with all the homies early season at killington and mtsnow. The most fun.
