killington is the worst resort.

$45 full day adult for 3 trails.

$25 junior half day. that is out of control. everyone should try to poach and do not fuckin buy a ticket. killington deserves to lose money.

they used to charge reasonable prices for early season tickets. now that asc is losign money, they rip people off. it sucks, and I hate killington

$45 is inexcusable. no they dont have to charge 10$ and make no profit, but they could charge $20-$25 full day. thats alot but definiltly reasonable. more people would wanna go to. 45 is an incredible amount of money for 3 trails, of skeptical quality, no matter how you look at it. i dont know about you but i dont make enough money to pay 45 a day, practically anywhere anytime. high school kids/middle school kids that dont have parents that feed them money cant afford that. and im sure most skiers cant afford that. American Ski Company is the shittiest corporation around. hopefully they crash and burn soon enough

i dont know where your getting your info bro...but its definitely incorrect....i got this straight off the site Early season lift tickets are: Full Day - $39/adult, $35/young adult and $29/junior/senior. Half Day - $35/adult, $30/young adult, $25/junior/senior. All tickets and other needs can be found in the Killington Base Lodge.

let me put something into perspective for you guys: it is called business. They provide a service at a certain price. You have the option of either going or not, it is that simple. If you don't want to because the price is too high, then don't go, but don't cry about it. My local mountain doesn't even open until like Dec. 10 Be grateful for what you have.

Now, I am not saying that I am condoning charging so much for skiing, especially early season with lower quality, you just have the wrong attitude about. indeed, $45 is a rip off. don't go. problem solved.

$36 is a full-day ticket at Mt. Baker and the most snow in the United States. Why would you pay more? It'd be cheaper to buy a sled and pay for gas, than spend more on tickets. Then again, if your parents are paying, who cares?

 
Birstol is 40$ for all day they have 1 trail when it opens so stop you bitchin.

its supply and demand right now. there is a shit load of demand for skiing & killy is the only one in northern new england that can provide it. it is ridiculous how much they're charging, but thats how it goes. it was cheaper in previous years because the weather cooperated with plenty of snow and they were able to open earlier without using soo much time, money, and water to make their own snow.

the reason asc is losing money is because everyone in the ski industry is losing money especially on the east coast, given that the owner of asc (les otten)is bankrupt, does not really say much because there is very little interest in the ski industry today so they might as well make money from rich people. they have realized that the economy sucks right now so making money off of people who cannot afford it is stupid, might as well rip off the people who can afford it so that they can make some money...

and yes asc has no money, but it may soon be purchased by a company with tons & tons & tons & tons of money. if anyone correctly answers which company is currently interested in buying asc i'll give you a cookie. :)

i actually work for an asc resort so fortunately i get a ski america, unfortunatly it doesn't work for ski season because they want to make money to keep their snow guns going...
