probably if you have some sort of recording device with a line in you could connect that to the speaker jack on your computer. I've also been wondering how to record streaming music.

If you are using an apple, you can download a program called wiretap...it records any sound coming out of your audio out (i.e., your speakers). It records it into AIFF format, which can be easily translated into MP3, using MACAST MP3 converter. If you're not using an Apple, I don't know, because Apple is far superior to everyone else's machines...
