Kids throwing snowballs from the lift

so twice today me and my friend were about to hit a rail and we were calling our tricks when some fag on the lift decides to throw a snowball at us. it didn't hit either of us but its just so annoying when it happens like have some respect. plus it was a fellow skier so that made it worse. does this happen to you guys a lot?
 
I got hit in the throat with one earlier this year. I was soo fucking pissed and couldn't breathe properly for a good 5 minutes.
 
A kid actually hit me in the face with one when I was bombing a trail. It hit my goggles and I couldn't see. I then proceeded to hit a tree and break my arm. Fag
 
as long as u wear big stuff and act steezey nobody will fuck with u...theyll look at you and say, wow look at this kid i dont wanna mess with him, he has big stuff. but anyway i know how that feels, getting in the mode to do something crazy and someone "accidentally snows you" that skis by or something like that. just pisses u off but u have to harness that anger and use it to try to land whatever it is ur doing
 
I've only ever seen kids toss snowballs or click their skis to knock snow onto people, if some teenager or other adult hit me with one I'd probably be legit pissed.
 
My friend gabe. and i were skiing and he had a snowball and we pelted some white trash snowboarder bitch on the head it was an iceball and she moaned and then was unconscious and the lifties stopped us at the top and ski patrol talked to us
 
There was a crew of kids throwing snowballs all over the park I was riding in yesterday. It was kind of funny till thy decided to start throwing them at the peole in the jump line.
 
a snowboarder at my hill threw one from the lift that apparently had some ice in it. it hit someone in the face and that got a black eye and swelled up kinda bad. so the resort they called the police, tracked down the boarder, and arrested him for assault. that kinda deterred my from doing it
 
a month ago there was a slopestyle comp at my mountain. The course was under the lift and all day kids were scraping snow off their skis onto us. This one kid banged his skis together too hard and his ski fell off onto the course.
 
Holy fuck. The things that could be done. I'd probably wedge that shit in between a pole/tree and continue to snap that kid's ski.

its funny you say that it was a skier. I swear skiers are bigger pricks than snowboards most the time.

Throwing snowballs is pretty wack tho. I'll click my ski's once in awhile if there's someone standing on the hill but never a snowball or never someone that's moving. It's more than a dick move. It's a dangerous one. I'm just waiting for the day that someone gets caught doing it and gets their ass beat for it.
 
I was at mount snow today and these kids were standing on the knuckle throwing snowball at people as they went of the jump. I proceded to spray them
 
Wait, does this actually happen that often? If I saw kids throwing snowballs at people hitting jumps, or even just random people in general I'd probably rage...

Haha everybody in this thread seems to be kinda bitchy.. I ride at mount snow a bunch and once it gets sunny and into spring it seems like everyday is a giant snowball fight on carinthia, don't take it so serious.

Also to the person above who said skiers are bigger pricks, that is 100% true ive rode up the lift with like 10 cool relatively nice skiers (while riding park). The other day i had someone tell me that he was sponsored by atomic and that he had next years blogs when they were clearly this years. Kids just try and lie and make the other kid sound stupid.
 
a couple days ago on the lift my friend (snowboarder) was gonna through one at another snowboarder leaving the park but i stopped him... then he threw it at the boarders friend in the leg, he kept ridding but looked back and then ate shit looking back. its a dick move and i kinda mad at him.... but it was really funny
 
Today it was 60 degrees at my hill. Kids decided to throw snowballs at us when we wher hitting a 40ft jump. One of my friend got pelted in the face mid air and landed on his back. Let's just say the kid who threw it won't be back anytime soon.
 
theres some weird ass borders at my mountain...instead of snowballs try green high powered laser pointers to the eyes...lets just say lasers+rails=/= landing the trick....then a different time they bought mice...yes mice...brought them to the ski hill and carried them around hitting rails and shit
 
i always throw snowballs at kids. not in the park but its so funny. one of my buddies horked on a girls head cuz she sucked at snowboarding and was sitting under the lift being helpless so her boyfriend was putting up with her shit but my buddy hit the bull's eye and it was awesome. we were probably only 13 at the time which made it much funnier.
 
so what you are saying is that you are still a tool?

The internet is truly amazing. I just usually never talk to people in person like this. But, they do exist.
 
i used to throw snowballs at kids from the lift, then i quit racing. Im being serious though. most racers that are local to the hill or visit from others are really disrespectful to the park rats then they absorb the jumps and hit sides of the rails. it bugs me, this being said theres a couple racers who can backflip so theyre ok.
 
I was on the chairlift when some kids under the lift threw a snowball up I caught it and threw it, it nailed one of them
 
when i was 11 my friend was joking around on the lift and said he was going to spit on the next skier to go underneath. he hocked one up and fired it out, not thinking their was any way he would actually hit the guy. sure enough, it splats right in the center of his goggles and the guy completely wiped out. i felt so bad but it was so funny.
 
It kind get kind of annoying when people throw it from the lifts, but in the lift lines at my home mountain people throw em all the time. Even the lifties do it occasionally
 
id probably throw a snowball at you. maybe. only if it turned into a snowball fight, cause those are fun and thats what skiings all about.
 
According to the rules of GNAR points are alotted to whomever hits a person with a snowball while that skier is airborne.

I target the kids wearing tall tees
 
Don't know about everybody else, but usually if somebody does it at my mountain you can count on them being a retard. So typically we can just yell up something like this. "We'll wait here to clip your pass I guess." Never seen again. The same thing applies to people that hit side lips.
