Kids that lie about being sponsored

The only sponsor I really want is a alcohol sponsor. Maybe I'll just make a drunken shenanigans edit and send it to a beer company and try to set sponsored for drinking instead of skiing. They're coincidental activities anyways.

I'm 25 and have been doing this for years with my buddies.

Stop being a wiener.

Not really about sponsorships but about film companies traveling with pros etc. We only do it around gapers and Yuppy Canadians since they are gullible and funny. Our community is too small and tight to lie to another person who likes the sport as much as us.

You sure he's not just fucking around?

]Some of my friends and I started a little film crew this year called Tree Line Tribe, mostly just for kicks and because we like skiing and filming together. It happens to be getting some recognition, particularly on instagram. I swear man 99% of the comments are kids asking us to sponsor them and shit! We have an edit and some stickers, I don't know what the fuck these kids even want from us lol

My thoughts exactly when I read through some comments. Sick skiing by the way

I've never actually met someone who lies(lied) about being sponsored. At least not by a "big name" company. I don't see how people think you can get away with that. They're a big company. If someone is legit, like you can find that out so easily. Only an idiot would try to lie about that.

Anyways, I met a girl who said she was sponsored for skateboarding locally and a shop was trying to get a girls team together(through her). The girl didn't even know what an Ollie was, but she was "sponsored." Seemed legit? Those kind of people are just insecure or overconfident and think they're good enough to say they have a sponsor. Whatever, just let them do them.

I'm in highschool and it seems like every fucking skier/boarder says they're sponsored by big name companies and they suck dicks at what they do. But i dont know why they even care about being sponsored. What do you guys think?[/QUOTE

Regardless it is true or not, just let them. I think this is the only thing that makes them happy.. To get you jealous!
