AFI moved to the Dreamworks label. They're music hasn't changed at all however. Read interviews with them and they stand by that they make music without any external consideration besides themselves. They talk about trying to never make the same CD twice. But yea, AFI and Rancid have both been getting more radio play over the last year and a half.

^Finally someone who knows the truth behind GC. Yea I saw them on Warped before people knew who they were, and I thought they're show was good. I then bought their first CD and thought it was kind of rawfully inspiring sort of and not so generic. And yes, they did sing about making it big 'In the videos, on the TV screens,' or some shit like that. But yea they're second CD came out and I heard it, and after seeing them all over the place, they definitely had nothing new to offer and I became turned off.
