Kids being absurdly mean to their bus monitor

if the headline was "kids beat up and tortured for making their bus monitor cry" all of you tough guys threatening to beat the shit out of 12 year olds would have a different tone.

Greece, N.Y. - Greece Police are deciding if a group of Greece Athena Middle school students will be charged after cell phone video shows a group of kids on a school bus bullying and threatening a school bus monitor.

You can see some students on camera and hear others off camera taunting the woman about her weight.

The students also talk about threatening to go over to the bus monitor's house and steal from her.

Greece Central School District has asked YouTube to take down the video.

Spokeswoman Laurel Heiden said their bullying response and prevention team was activated and all students involved will face disciplinary action.

Greece Police are questioning four middle school students and will decide if charges will be filed in juvenile court.

It's unclear when this incident happened.

The Greece School District said the bus monitor is Karen Klein, who has worked there for 20 years and became a bus monitor about three years ago.

13WHAM's Patrice Walsh spoke with Karen Wednesday afternoon. Klein said the comment that hurt the most was when the kids said "you're so ugly your kid should kill themselves." Her son took his life 10 years ago.

That is so fucked up. I thought that she may have known someone who killed themselves when the kid said that. Those kids deserve to go to Juvie till they are 18. Fuck them. Ruin their lives. Then the parents can live with the regret that they raised the worst kids knowing they are now going nowhere in life because they have no respect.
 
Shit like this makes me so mad. What is up with kids in my generation? I'm pretty sure if any kids did shit like this 30 years ago they would get their asses beat.

That video makes me sad. I was such a shy, quiet, polite kid who was pretty much afraid of adults. Can't imagine saying anything like this to anyone ever. I hope those kids really change as they mature, otherwise they're going to be monstrous evil douchebags.

But really, it's sad that these kids lives suck so much they need to resort to making fun of an innocent old lady. I really hope some of the parents of these kids see this and do something about it.
 
You'd think that their parents' behaviour and attitudes could have influenced these hateful words, on being fat, dying of diabetes, being old and useless etc.
 
I found all of their names, facebook profiles, phone numbers, addresses, reddit info, the phone number of the school, the principal's email, the bus monitor's name, facebook, email, phone number etc within a few minutes. That said, I can't post it on NS, but it is all out there for anyone to find. The school and police are saying that the kids will be facing disciplinary action so at least there's that, plus the general public is giving all of them a (deservedly) hard time.

Don't fuck up, children of NS. The internet knows where you live.
 
Well this makes me feel a bit better: Apparently in the last few hours alone, over $32,000 has been donated to her, as well as people sending her nice messages, cards, and flowers. It started as people hoping to just raise enough to send her on a nice vacation, but who knows? Maybe now she can retire early and not have to deal with those kids anymore.

Yeah I live in Roch, NY and heard about the donation thing on the radio. Crazy to think it was created just to raise a $1,000 so the lady can go on a nice vacation.

District Statement Regarding YouTube Video

This morning we were made aware of a troubling video that was posted to YouTube depicting students ridiculing a bus monitor. We were able to confirm that the woman in the video is a Greece Central School District employee. We immediately activated our district bullying and violence prevention response team to investigate and contacted the Greece Police Department to conduct their own investigation.

We have discovered other similar videos on YouTube and are working to identify all of the students involved. Links to the YouTube posts were also forwarded to members of the media, some of whom have reported inaccurate and concerning information including names and addresses of students alleged to be involved in the incidents. The bus involved in this incident was carrying middle school students – all of whom are juveniles. Although their behavior was inexcusable, we also have concern for the safety of all involved. We urge patience to allow us to investigate and determine the appropriate discipline.

Currently, our district security staff and Greece Police are interviewing all of those involved. The Greece Police Department has assigned an investigator to partner with us. The Greece Central School District is committed to providing students and staff with a safe environment that respects the dignity of all. We do not tolerate harassment of staff or students.

While we cannot comment on specific student discipline, we can say that students found to be involved will face strong disciplinary action. We will continue our ongoing bullying prevention and awareness training to ensure that incidents like this do not occur in the future. Specifically, the Greece Central School District has recently adopted the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, a systemic approach involving all community stakeholders to reduce bullying and other anti-social behaviors.

The Greece Central School District has a clear Code of Conduct and all staff and students have been fully trained. This behavior is a clear violation and will not be tolerated. The district will also ensure that reporting procedures are reviewed and response procedures are systemically in place.

She should take 2k and go on a vacation. Then take the rest of the money and buy everything those kids own. Leave them with nothing so that they know what the rest of their lives will be like. Give the stuff to the poor, and win some kind of award for being such a humanitarian.

If I had their names I would write a very strongly worded letter to each of their households expressing my displeasure.

Or pay a buddy of mine to kidnap them and violently rape them up the ass in the night.

Threads for mobile. But all the comments are reminding me of the video of the Asian kids beating up the one kid. That video made me so angry
 
There was a fight on my bus where the whole back end piled on this kid because he was yelling at the monitor and random kids. We later found out that the kid had special needs, and the monitor was there to be his aid.... hahaha it made us feel a little bad
 
Usually I don't mind the things that you post but this kinda irritated me. Millions of dollars are donated every year to starving kids in other countries. Food and aid is also sent to them. Dont act like nothing is getting done.
