Kidney Pads?

Ok so I spent 3 weeks in the hospital last season, and almost died numerous times while I was there. I overshot a jump a few seasons ago and created two abseses (sp) in my liver because I came down from like 15ft onto my pole.

So my question is, does anyone know who makes some good kidney/liver pads. It's most likely not going to happen again, but honestly I'd rather not take the risk.

Thanks in advance to anyone who provides info.

i use a fox racing belt to help absorb the shock on the organs. i also had a serious injury internally. i ruptured a kidney, my liver, torre my spleen in half and collapsed the bottom half of both my lungs. so i know how you are feelinmg. i suggest getting a solid kidney belt. it will help with the impacts for sure

Anyone else wearing a kidney belt for skiing? I'm thinking of getting one, not sure whether to get a snowboarding one or a motocross one (or is there a skiing one?).

I used to use one for motocross and it saved me a few times.

Armada or someone should produce them...

the only people i know who make action sports pads and braces and stuff is Asterisk and pro tec. I would contact Asterisk and see what they have.

POC has some sick impact shorts and back braces that i've seen.... but i bet the have some sort of impact top that probably will protect your kindeys

Dude I was wonderign the same thing. I got my kidney taken out in 01 due to a skateboarding accident.

Where can i get that fox racing belt?

whats it feel like collapsing a lung? i wanna kinda know what it feels like in advance just in case if anything happens
