Kid with afterbangs

At the end of the day, it's a free

country... So kids should be allowed have top of the range skis or

what ever they want. It's not a big deal.. Just because a kid has afterbangs

and he's not that great in the park?

I HAVE THE 166 afterbangs.

there dying on me, edges are breaking, chipping way to muh, bases are raped, there not lasting long :S ive skied them 12 times, the edges are a lil craked and knocked in , this made my base come out so its not flat :S not worth it.
 
this guy said he skied Colorado and now he is in Michigan on the smallest hill/resort ever and he said that a 15 foot jump was the biggest jump he ever saw. he had lib techs skis and full tilts on.
 
It doesn't really matter all too much if people that aren't that good at skiing happen to own mad good shit. The only time it really annoys me is when that kind of person thinks they're hot shit and are completely oblivious to the fact that they suck.
 
Im definatlly not very good by any means, but im definatly not a gaper. i work at a shop so i got hooked up on a pair of disorderlys with griffions, i rock a TJ pro jack ( last years). sometimes if i bail in the park and i feel like everyone else is like wow that kid has nice stuff but sucks. kidna the same sorta deal.
 
its annoying tho...cuz in ur case its annoying cuz the kids fails and has afterbangs and is a gaper, but if he didnt have afterbangs he would still be made fun of for not having twin tips and looking like a gaper.
 
i dont really care about kids having afterbangs and full tilts and shit.. but when they rollover the lips thats when i get pissed off because its actually making things worse hah
 
let people spend their money on whatever the fuck they want to spend it on. I am stoked to see kids all over the hill with nice ski equipment. They are putting their money into the sport i love instead of video games or car parts or something. The bigger the sport gets, the more money companies have to make sick shit and the more people that like freeskiing i have to shred the mountain with. when i first got into freeskiing i was one of the only kids in the whole state with twin tips and if i happened to see another person with twin tips it felt like we were part of a family or something together. The bigger the sport the bigger the family. /rant
 
usually id be more open to this, you know, not judgin straight on the spot, but it was just mlk weekend and there were mad gaypers everywhere. so currently i hate gaypers soooo much. mad kids just swarmin the parks fuckin up the lips to rails and shit and pissing me off. got snaked a couple times and screamed at some kids...gotta do
 
this is the problem with the industry really. its too 'elitist' really. where if, people say, youre not doing cork 9s and pretzels then you shouldnt be allowed to buy afterbangs or armadas or whatever. But really, it is great for the industry and for this kid, the afterbangs are probably the right ski for him, cheap but durable and light. why the hell not? how about next time, you go up and speak to him, maybe give him some pointers in the park? and not just flame the shit out of him for trying. Sure enough its probably annoying if he gets in your way or whatever on the lips, but it wouldnt be too difficult to, instead of shouting at him, just give him a friendly bit of advice and maybe help him progress?

I wont lie i have no problem selling some poser kid aftrerbangs. i personally hate it when lil jimmy comes in and wants skis so mom buys the lil shit skis no questions asked after i spent a summer saving for a pass and new gear, (with the retailer hookups) but in the end, it keeps my boss happy, and the industry is going, and hopefully, the kidll grow into the skis after a season. i know its hard to progress if your cruising on lil shitty grom skis, so let em grow into them and help them out if you can
 
i dont mind their equipment as much as i do getting snaked by them or rentals in the park pisses me off really bad. If they wanna spend money on all their shit... so be it.
 
Afterbangs are one of the cheapest price point skis out there, so it was probably his most economical choice. But no, it really doesn't rock my world to look at other people's gear.
 
Those kids you hate keep skiing alive.

We need more kids to take mommy and daddy's money and buy ski gear! So moral of the story is steal your parents money, and go buy ski stuff with it
 
Yah I hate when kid's put money back into the industry...every think of if it wasn't for gapers your hills wouldn't operate?
 
I'm at the springs to and the asians with the rental skis piss me off so much because half of them cant ecen speak english to like warn u if they're coming up from behind u I've had a couple of them run into me its so annoying. And I have invaders but I dont race with them. I ski park mostly.
 
I personally don't mind what people wear. If they have good skis/ tall ts and so on. If it gives them confidence then so be it. Someday they may be an amazing skier everybody has to start somewhere!
 
the more people (including average joe's and gapers) expect from a resort the better (in terms of terrain). its the obvious. but its true.
