kid at my school hurts himself skiing

a kid at my school went skiing this apst weekend n hurt himself, he didnt no he was internally bleedin till yesturday wen he threw up a crap load of blood, he had to go to the hospital n get stitched up

Any hard impact, i.e. landing on your chest on the deck, etc. could case internal bleeding. I'm still curious how it happened.

yup, people 'pole' themselves in the park and do that all the time. You usually don't know untill you just fall over or die

yeah back in the day my friend planted his pole and landed on it on some random little jump. when we got down to the bottom, he said he had to go to the bathroom and told me to wait here. a while later, when he didnt come back i went hunting and found him in the ski basin hospital thinger. he was ridiculously close to puncturing his spleen.

if it was on the school, trip and you are talking to him before he gets back to school, tell him not to say that it was on the trip, but some other time because if it anything like it is up here in ontario then your school might not go skiing again. i know our school board is really picky about letting schools ski because of insurance reasons

ya, i over rotated a frontflip earlier this year in a comp, and landed on my head and side, i was in the hospital from that for 3 days and in icu. i got a concussion and fucked up my kidney pretty bad so i am out for the season because of that. internal injuries, like bleeding or anything like that can be very serious.
