hey does anyone live around the kicking horse/golden area. i will be up there from the 26th till like the 4th or something and would love for a local to show me and a freind the ropes.

prey for snow cause kicking horse sucks if you have no new snow, when your going up the gondoloa near the top look to your left and look at the mountain, hike up it...when you see it youll know....

ok you guys are making me nervous. i am flying across the country. i better get good fucking snow.

those fools make a good point, but when it comes to kicking's present conditions there way off. They have had more snow in these few weeks then in 3 seasons and are sitting at a base of over 200cm. Everyone iv talked to that was there said it was awsome.

Bitches, I was there on Saturday.....the mountain was relatively empty. Bluebird....a few below Zero deg-C. 70cms of fresh. It was the kind of day that you wait for ALL year, and it was only DEC 16th.

KH sucks. Don't go there. Please! For me.

alright guys i wont be on the computer again untill im there most likely. so if you want to chill just send me an email timmi12345@hotmail.com

I know im bringing this thread back up

but stop hating the horse..im not saying this because i live there, but its got great terrain, hardly anyone goes unless there are busses, park sucks but its a big mountain hill and even on crappy days i find stuff to hit.

the only problem with it is the budget, they got 16 mill last year and but 14 into real estate

so thats the only down part

n ones hatin on it. its a great mountain with snow. iwas there last year and for two days i skied nothing but moguls because they hadnt gotten snow in a month....i even hiked along the big ass ridge to the skiers right at the top of the gondola and i didnt get any pow

im in kicking horse right now.... its soooo dope. lots of fresh. im in fernie next week.

HEY HEY HEY, NO

we just got 22 cm over night

so another foot in two days

we've also had record snowfall

so were not weak

I just got back, great weekend and skied hard both days. Was near the lead of the chinese downhill that was the opening of Feuz Bowl today. Great vibe at that mountain. Love it, the weak comment was directed at some residents of Golden, my bad :(

Chinese downhill...good one.

Ya, the upper 1/2 of the horse was typical wet dream kinda stuff on Sunday.
