I can flip it but only my back foot lands on the board. I know im suppose to keep my front foot in the air long but I cant. Do you guys have any tips also i am committing 100%. Thanks

sounds like you're being a bit agressive with your left foot. You don't have to drop it, let the board do the work. But you probably already knew that.

Keep your shoulders square with the board. What you are more than likely doing is kicking and openin up frontside bringing your foot off the board. So concentrate on your shoulders they are key in every trick you do. Also Idk where you're placing your feet but I remember way back in the day when I was learning I had my foot like a solid three inches under the bolts pointed 45 degrees because it was easier to flip. But opening your feet like that and keeping them closer together will also bring your front foot off. So put your feet in an Ollie position, so your foot like an inch under the bolts slightly kiltered and angled and go through the kick flip motion it'll be weird at first and perhaps harder to flip but it will keep your shoulders square and your foot will return to the board. At first you may only flip it half way but you will be landig on it with both feet. Just keep practicing concentrate in where your shoulders are and have fun!!! This is on mobile so If spelling is butchered I apologize

like the guy said above your problem is probably in your shoulders, keep them closed/squared and flip that shit brah you'll get it

^That was everything you'll need to know.^

Just saying, learn it moving. If you learn kicks moving, you'll be able to learn everything moving and skip the whole part of taking static tricks to rolling.

Oh yeah that too ^ always learn tricks at a nice clip. Not too fast but fast enough it makes tricks easier when you are moving quickly itll also make you a better skateboarder and it will also help with your shoulder control

Fucking forever, was a big hole in my bag of tricks for a while. Learned tres before I could kickflip. Tricks that involve shuvs are a little easier in my opinion though.

it took me like 10+ years of on and off skating to be able to kickyflipy with consistency. one thing i remember was i would do the same thing you did with my front foot. i tried to think of it like an ollie (keep your front foot above the board the whole time) and eventually it came around.

like abortioner said above, shoulders are key.

thats true for me too, shuv makes everything easier. but dont get in the habit of adding shuvs to everything. it will make it harder to learn things. like i honestly learned shuv sex change before i could truly olie.

Go find a railing or bench and hold onto it and do them. Kind of push yourself up when you pop it: do it for like 15 minutes the try them normally. How I learned em'.

Also, even after you have the form down, it can still take a whole lot of repetitions before you're landing bolts more often than not. Keep going hard and it'll come together
