Kicker with variable height?

Hey guys,Instead of building multiple kickers for rails/boxes with different heights, I had the idea of making a kicker that can somehow swivel up and down on a hinge, to change the height.
Do you guys think this is a good idea, and if so how should i execute it?

just have a bottom peice, a top piece( that you ski off) and a hing connecting the two, and instead of having all that junk connecting the two at a specific height stack wood between haha

alternate the number of bricks holding it up. that is what i do.

Mines just 2 peices, the main part is just like a little frame with osb on top and then the ramp part is held on to the end of it by hinges on the sides. then whenever i have rise or lower it i just throw more boards under it

I just put a 2x4 under the kicker. It's a lot sturdier looking and simpler.
