The backcountry experience is an inherently environmental one and is therefore inherently vulnerable. Sanctified is an engaging and inspirational film that celebrates the beauty of the mountains and the experience of skiing in them, while highlighting environmental issues that directly affect the backcountry. Through education, inspiration and skiing from the top level of the sport, Sanctified seeks to compel individuals to take an active role in the preservation of mountain environments and the backcountry experience.

The trailer made me drool, some of those lines were pretty sick. good sized cliffs too.

haha, a little crunchy for my taste, I love the footage of a forest fire, as if it's some kind of message, when lightning prolly started it. then the snowmobile, which of course is EVVVIILLLLL!! with all their snowthrowing damn those things TRASH the powder. some areas will never fully recover after a snowmobile rolls over the snow before it melts.

We pay our debt sometimes.

Maybe they are just bringing a very relevant and real message to a level where we can understand it, by showing us ways environmental damage will cause direct impact. And maybe it will cause at least a few people to clean up a bit. Thats probably a good thing.

WOW.

My mane is now dreaded and I reek of patchuli from having watched that. That was one of the most hippified pieces of ski video action I have ever seen.

Beyond that, it was nice. Great skiing. Very great locations. Lotsa snow. I'll eat some granola (with my oats) to that!

^^ yea it is true though, there was some article in the national geographic about how much water we pollute per gallon, its not like its deadly polluted but contains it
