im sure everyone understands their frustration, thats not where the apparent sense of entitlement is stemming from. pro skiers, out of everyone, should understand the concepts of intangible weather and park maintenance. Im not trying to detract from the fact that its a very shitty situation for these skiers and they are obviously under a huge amount of pressure, but i still think they should all be able to understand the idea that weather is unpredictable and that jumps especially need to be maintained so that theyre safe.
now, i dont know 100% what is going on with the situation here and I havent read every post in this thread. so if the jumps are closed unnecessarily or something lik that, that I missed, that changes things and I can see why theyd be pissed. but mostly I think theyve been plagued by bad luck and not an incompetent park staff. its early in the season, so everyone knows that parks are not completely perfect yet
