they are a bunch of retards right now in my oppinion, heres why: they have had the piles of snow and the drop in for theis superpipe built up for like 3 weeks and still havent cut it. instead of working on their pipe, they have finaly finished their training park. next is their jumps. yes, i do admit that they are better built this year than last year but they still stink. the landings are like falling off a cliff. i overshot the second one on the left yesterday and fucked my shins up realy bad, all they seem to focus on is their rails, but if their park is so good like they advertise it, should'nt it be good? they have put tons of money into it supposedly, but i dont see any improvements.

^ i haven't gone to keystone since they opened the jumps for the exact reason you just mentioned. i hate when jumps are built with supe steep landings. i mean, what the fuck are they thinking?? if you go to any good park (mammoth, whistler, breck, etc.), the landings on all the big kickers are long and more gradual so even if you go huge you don't overshoot and break you shins. hopefully they get some shitty feedback and make some changes.

yea, but if they put that much work into everything, wouldn't it be nice to have a park that had good booters and pipe as well as rails??

 
heres the deal with keystone, 2 years ago they were a place with bearly any park at all, now they have drop alot of money into there park. and last year alot of the older keystone people got pissed because they were blowing snow for the park and not other runs thats just what i have heard, and so i think that this year they are trying to accomdate for both people park and just freeride.

first of all, unfortunately the barbecue rail is not in, it is sitting off to the side rotting, because they put some slanted up rail box in its place. second, they were blowing snow there all day yesterday, and none of it was in the area of the pipe, they have been done blowing snow for that for quite a while now. and i honestly think that the old park on jackwacker was better than what we have now. no matter how bad the jackwacker park may have sucked.

you are all bastards. i would kill for keystones park. last year over spring break i peed myself when i saw all the rails. Breckenridge has a better overall park but keystone was still great. i hate you all that think the park is bad.

ive got a few things to say:

1: i cant stand keystones jumps. the take offs are too flat and the landings are too steep. i overshoot them almost everytime.

2: what the fuck are they doing with their pipe?? it was supposed to open days ago.

3: after the two jumps the slanted box on the right raped me. i was doing it and theres a few inch gap with no plexiglass in the end and it flipped me when i hit it

4: the really long flat box before hte rollercoaster now has a massive dent in the plexiglass too.

5: there was so much sick powder on thursday there. you get speed hten fly up the catwalk where the BBQ rail is and hike up a little bit towards the pipe and there was almost knee deep untracked pow.

6: SET UP YOUR FUCKING RAILS. you have tons!

7: keystones pretty nice overall.

^ yea keystone is being lazy this year, and the dude who said last year Keystone was sick... it really was, last year i loved Keystone, i would of killed for their rails and there jumps were smooth and nice, however that was last year, this year it sucks...

keystone is stupid. Why only have 2 jumps when u have so much room where u can build some pretty good jumps. That was the adavantage of jackwhacker 2 years ago. key stone werent trying to impress any body. they were like breck. the had some sick stuff but the could also take care of it. ' no matter how bad the jackwacker park may have sucked.' dude admit it u had as much fun in it as u do in breck.

the jackwacker terrain park was the shit - i like skiing through the trees from the top section (just after the teeter totter) to the top of the bottm - it made an awesome run in for the kicker at the bottom

Damn guys, im from out east and out of all the parks ive been to since ive been out here i would say keystone is sick, maybe their jumps arent the best but i expect that to get better throughout the year. The rails on the other hand are awesome, i love their rails and i know they have better stuff that will be goin up.

But I have some questions??

Will they build some smaller jumps where I can learn to throw tricks and not have to worry about 30 people runnin into me or puttin more pressure on me to do my shit.

Secondly is that whole area that i think is the park going to have jumps and rails on it, i havent been since before christmas and i was wondering if they have done anything to the other areas?

i relaly didnt like jackwhacker. i was just learning park then and they had no beginner rails. last year keystone was amazing!!! they need to use their damn rails though!! they have sooo many. once they get the pipe done, the two smaller jumps done, fix those stupid big tables cause they suck and then put more rails in....they will own once again

first of all, they opend the pipe today, it was good, but its still weird like last year, the walls are straight and even, unlike last year, but the drop is realy weird because you go down then have to go up to get in to the pipe, so its realy hard to cary speed into the first wall. also they need to straigten out the right side wall, its kinda crooked. also they did not make it tall enough, so there is not as much vert in the walls as there should be, it feels like your rideing a realy big standard, not super pipe. but props anyway, i was there on my ar5s and i was the best one in the pipe, that disturbed me a bit.

they also have opend their small training park, the incubator park, so hopefuly that answers your question.

johnathan, i agree with what you said about the boxes, i fell, but didnt get hurt off that up slant one, but i saw somone in one of their expression classes eat shit over it, and they took him down in a sled. one of my friends is a liftie up there and says that the park guys are a realy lazy bunch of guys. they just need to get their act together and they will be set. somone needs to tell them to fix tose damn tables as well. johnathan since your good you should mention it, i would but im not that great, i overshoot almost everytime as well.

so before you go dissing on folks why don't you voice your concerns about the park to him directly?
