Team Newschoolers and 4bi9 film genious Kevin Steen won Best Action Sports film at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth this past weekend in Seattle. The film, titled "Sound and Light", is a glimpse into the first few months of 4bi9's 09-10 season. For those who have seen the short film, it's no surprise that it took the top spot. Huge props to Kevin! way to make us proud.
 
i was lucky enough to see this and there was no doubt he was going to win. congrats kevin!
 
It was the best 20 minute ski video I have ever seen. The cinematography and the skiing were both unreal.

So stoked for you kev! Ridic that one person is so retardedly talented. Don't you win a new whip? Errr sumpin? Who cares that's legit. Kev deserves it. One of the nicest guys out there.
 
^ Not sure of the details, but I know he's starting in South Africa (I think) and ending up in Northern Africa somewhere. The whole trip is like 2 months, and he's building a school along the way, and filming it, and probably going to release some sort of life changing video.
