first, the flip flop issue: changing your mind when you realize you've made a mistake show's intelligence, not lack of integrity. kerry did not agree with the way the money was being spent to fund the war, so he voted against it. it's better to change your mind and try to fix something than stand resolute even once you've realized you were wrong. as for all the other flip-flops the GOP has dug out, i havent heard of anything that seriously puts doubt into where kerry stands on issues, and that's what you should base your vote on.
if you believe america should disregard international governing body's and pursue its own self-interest in the name of pre-emptive self-defense, then stay with bush.
if you believe in international diplomacy as a solution to avoiding future wars with third world nations, go with kerry.
as for their military records, in all practicality, that has nothing to do with how effective they can be as presidents. but people dont care, they vote for who they like more. its just how politics works. people can hate on kerry's tours of duty, and they can hate on bush's missing national guard papers, or they can hate on cheney's deferrment. either way, its just a means of getting the public to dislike one guy in favor of the other. most politicians dont volunteer for the service, cuz they're rich and they can avoid it, thats just life.
as for the economy: one, i was shocked that arnie had the ignorance to repeat his economic girly-men quote after he took a press beating for it the first time he said it. especially with today's insistence on being 'PC', i would think a politician would have more brains than that. he's basically insulting all women (for saying that implying that being girly is inferior) and all gays. that's a big chunk of votes if you ask me.
and finally: any one who tries to pull evidence from anything zell miller said needs to have their head examined. that guy is creepy. all he did was get up there and cuss out kerry for 15 minutes. thats not what politics should be. and shit, the guy's still stuck in the middle ages. im sure many of you watched the daily show or saw the live interview where he said he wished he could challenge a reporter to a duel for questioning his credibility. ok im done
vote kerry
