Kenwood stereo

So here is the situation. I have a 93 Mazda MX6 with a kenwood head unit and my amp just got stolen. I am wanting to just hook the speakers up to the head unit in the mean time while I dont have an amp. Does anyone know how to get the thing out if I dont have the kenwood key?

go to a dealer and ask them for one...or find a long thin strip of metal and stick it down the sides to release the clips (thats basically all the key is)
