the U.S. gov. cant shut down Kazaa cause it is a Sweeden based company where our rules dont apply, but the gov. can target the people who d/l the stuff from it.

I heard rumors and then a lot of people told me it was all like for show and they weren't actually threatening or anything and they just wanted to scare people off but I was at this kid I know's house and the computer was on and they send him a bitchass long message threatening to prosecute it was all official and everything- heh and the kid's dad is the VT attorney general so I don't think he really has to worry.

it can no longer be shut down because of kazupernodes.. were normal PC's like yours and mine are the servers.. just download k-lite and you are safe, cause there is no longer a need for the p2p server for the network to run.
