Katal Landing Pad

That so sick. It looks kinda sketchy to land on though even though its safe and you wont hurt yourself i think it would be super hard to stick a trick on
 
I got to ride it when it was at Lake Louise. Pretty sick for just getting air awareness down for new tricks, landing and riding away, not so much. Maybe 1 in 20 straight airs on skis actually rode away, it was just way too slippery. They set it up a little weird at Louise where the smaller jump you had

to carve left to land on the bag, I kind of missed the bag, such an 'oh

shit' moment.Also burrs in peoples edges were blowing holes in the material so they kept on having to close it and repair the bag which took anywhere from 20 minutes to 1hr. Sick concept though.
 
tried it in whistler last week... transition from landing to snow is gnarly as fuck, borderline dangerous
 
yeah... we had some problems with the landing it was just too steep. The next setup will have more of a mellow landing so you dont rocket into the snow at full speed, a couple people got hurt. Its such a sick invention though, you can try any tricks and not worry about getting hurt.. im way more comfortable in the air now. Keep an eye out this thing should blow up!
