Karmas=Discontinued

Are your fingers retarded or is it just you?

But seriously, this is kind of old news, and it does suck. The new Bridges are real nice, but i do like the Karmas a bit more.

I guess a Bridge is not that much wider than the karma. and a wall is not that much thinner.

A Bridge and Katana will have to do if 2 pairs. if 3 pairs I would go for a Wall, Mantra and Katana. And sell your karmas or leave them for rocks. For 1 pair go bridge all the way. At least for me...

So, you're telling me I should sell my Karmas........ just because they stopped making them?

That would be bad karma.

I mean that if u ski a minimum of 50 days a year you will notice after a couple of seasons that you lovely old karmas havent got the pop or the stiffnesss they had before even with wood core (a pocket rocket or mostly any salomon or ski without wood wont last more than 40 days for me).

they're really cool. They got better edges and the design is really sick. The only bad thing is that they don't have a race base (black) which is a lil bit faster but the difference isn't that big. They're really light especially with the Marker Jester Binding which is the sickest I've ever rode.

I feel like the Bridge is gunna be too big and stiff for park. The Wall on the other hand looks good for park and it is a Volkl ski so it should hold up on the rest of the mountain

good i hope volkl drops off the scene totally and focuses on what their good at- making gaper ass racing skis.

Their team is way too chill to ride for them, Line should pick all of them up

Volkls entire lineup is weak, their skis are sick but the graphics and their entire image is gay as fuck.

So what you're saying is they make awesome skis, but because they have a racing background, they are lame?

/yourself. Seriously.

this is stupid, i love my karmas and it sez you need the extra width to ride seriously deep pow, learn to ski, my karmas have been in thogh deep powder and there fine

volkls retarded

I have demoed both the Wall and Bridge last year, and they were both great. The Wall is actually not that bad for all mountain even with it being center mounted, and symmetrical. They are about the same stiffness as the Karmas, maybe a little bit softer. The Bridges were stiffer than the Karmas, but handled about the same. I found that they did not do so well in the moguls, but that was because i was given the 180 something, and im 5'6. If you are doing more park than anything else, go with the Walls, and if you are doing less park than everything else, go with the Bridges. The Bridges are 92 underfoot, so they would be alright in East Coast powder.

Voelkl is a huge corporation and if they make sick racing skis but they also make sick freestyle skis as well. They've got a good experience in making skis so they can easily use it in freeskiing the same as Rossi, Salomon and other huge corporations. Voelkl make the most stable skis on the market and that's their plus WATCH--> KARMA. Every company like ROssi, Salomon, Fischer and some other got a racing past so I think it's good. That's all I got to say. Peace,

Szczepan

they both look like good skis. i'm just pissed they stopped making the Karma. It's different from both of the skis. I love my Karmas.

oh no. why oh why? oh woe is the ski world, how could they ever replace a ski that changed every year and was lame? oh god... oh no, wait, is that? yep, a direct replacement. wow. for "switch riding"

STOP BUYING THIS SHIT!!!

Please enlighten me how volkl is "shit" and "lame". You're just jealous because they actually know how to make a ski.

and ^sir_holland, I rep the 05-06 and cherish every moment on them

Get your shit straight.

Karmas were one of the best skiing all-mountain twin out the past few years.

The Wall is one of the best pair of skis I have ever been on. I have every year of the karma and they were a nice ski and years ahead of the pack when they first came out...the wall and the bridge are nice replacements.

sorry, I just wont support a company that puts quotations around rail rails switch or riding. its just my opinion. Cause you know some old dood at volkl is sitting there laughing his ass off at us while he puts out the green light for that kind of language. so fuck em!

Buy from companies that need your business.

Oh you're one of those "independent" guys who don't actually fully understand the world of economics.

Fact is, the Karma was a damn good all-around twin, and it should be bought based on that, not clever marketing alone.

Still havent seen a ski that is better constructed than a volkl. period. No armadas, no k2, no line, roosi, etc. and talking fs not race.

and ive tried a lot really, and riding a volkl is definetly something different from all others.. for me
