In a thread earlier today it was brought up that it would be cool if you could have negative karma. I think that this is an interesting point of view. Another thing that would be cool to add would be something that would be like a "grading period"
Where you can give more karma after a certain amount of time. So if you have a kid being extremely helpful and adding substance to the website. He could receive more karma but if he gets his xbox taken away and he becomes a D bag for a grading period he could go completely into the negative.
its not game changing by any stretch of the imagination but it would be fun to "spice up" the karma system. Just like anything new all the kids want to do it. So in summer NSG maybe it would help kids be on better behavior knowing that they could rack up even more karma.
Any ideas? thoughts? comments? flaws?

but I think there are other things that should be fixed first like the fucking icon uploader.
 
Lol not diggin that idea.. Kids (trolls) during summer NS would just fuck around wanting to get negative karma.. And like said above there are other things that should be focused on right now. But I get the idea you're trying to propose- it's good, but not needed, kinda like handjobs.
 
wayy too complicated, good idea, but i think with the grading system and different sections, it would become way to messed up and a ton of other problems would arise with this. and kids would care even more aboutkarma
 
in my opinion i really do hate the whole karma thing. It really sucks when some ignorant person kills the shit out of your karma for no reason
 
actually hes right, any bitch can drop your karma because they dont like you for one reason or another. it could be the stupidest reason in the world, but if you dont have much karma then it looks bad if you try to sell or buy something, nobody wants to do buisness with someone who has 8 posts and 0 karma. It just wont happen.
