KARMA SYSTEM 101!

I joined NS the other day. I get the Karma system now. Seems like a pretty good system. Getting rid of the post count would be a good thing for people like me who haven't been a part of NS for very long and have made like 10 posts.
 
haha, it's funny because your karma is only 50 or so. Karma varies so much that banning someone based on it wouldn't make much sense. You would have 0 karma if you made an account but didn't go on it, so low karma isn't always from being a douche.
 
i wish you could give karma based on someones post. like a 10 for one of their posts and like a 5 for anther. i think that would work better than just rating the user.
 
Except it no longer has any useful application whatsoever because the entire system has changed! I don't even understand it anymore! Yay!
 
i never was on ns with the old system but this one sounds alot better and i think that now youll get the karma you deserve which is good

Quite a few of the things in the OP are outdated now. Someone should write a new article to link to when you click on Karma under members.
 
Ok, I think I got the point of it.

Was there another change in the system or why can I just rate 0 - 10 ?
 
hey, i have a question, im kinda new to the site so i dont understand the post number thing cuz i reply pretty much and uploaded some fotos and my post number is still 6 :S i dont know if this is right because like i said i replay pretty much. please explain how it works thank you
