my friend is buying a new pair of skis this winter and hes either buying the ar6 or the karmas, he skis in new jersey so he pretty much skis about 80-90 percent park and the rest all mtn but he will be taking a lot of trips out west and will be skiing powder most of the time and some park and he already has a pair of thrusters from last season that he will be using sometimes.

hes 165 lbs and 6 1.

i think you guys forgot the part where i said that he already has thrusters from last season that hes gonna be using in the park sometimes and hes getting new skis this year

no they're both all mountain, and yea everyone seemed to ignore the trips out west. I ski VT and am spendin a month in CO and i went with the ar6, I'm 175 lbs round 6 foot. I chose ar6 becuase they're cheaper and lighter and was sick of my rather heavy PEs so I wanted a change of pace.

i'd go w/ the karmas. i have them and they hold their edges really well. so that should be good for that east coast ice. plus, it's a great all mountain ski too. that's mostly what i use it for.

Ive rode the AR6 and the Karmas, I decided Karmas 100% everywhere. They far exceeded my expectations. the AR6 was a little unstable at high speed.

uh the ar6 and the karmas are different like night and day in terms of stiffness so what kind of stiffness does he want we need some more details but for now id say fuckem both n get a pair of foils in my opinion they are like one of the best all mountain ski they can kill it whether its in the park or the pow or the icy east coast groomers
