Karma......it's legit (read it).

This isn't about NS karma, because that's stupid. It's about real Karma. Here's the story.

Today myself, The Green Goblin, Dave Euler, and C-Blunt Dogg roll to the Gateway (an outdoor shopping mall crawling with bitties) on bikes to get some Free Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream for free cone day. When we roll up the very first person I see is this chubby dude, about 30 years old trying to steal a bike. He looked mad sketchy so I doubled back to see what was up and sure enough he was cutting a lock with some weak wire cutters. Anyway, Being a bike owner, and hating theft I immediately looked for the nearest rent a cop. I told him and we rushed back to see the dude dip around the corner. We're just chilling and we see the guy again walk past us looking at us like he was ready to fight... he knew that we knew. We follow him and confront a security dude directly in front of him. The dude takes off walking fast and after a brief discussion they're after him. That's the end of that.

Next we go to Wendy's to get some food. We're all standing in line bitching about who owes who money for some JBC's. Anyway, a few of us sit down without food. An older man gets up to leave and walks over, hands us $10 and says "Hey... go get yourself some food". Immediately we all look at each other and think "YES! We're going to the liquor store and getting a cheap fifth". After some debate we realize we should give back the money to the community. We flip a coin and sure enough it told us to buy 9 JBC's and deliver them to any homeless person we see. We rolled through downtown SLC giving burgers to homeless people and it was one of the most rewarding feelings. Much better than getting shitty drunk and forgetting your night. Everytime we asked "Hey, do you want a burger" their eyes lit up and they immediately indulged. Soooo, I think it's a cycle. We helped keep a bike thief off the streets, and then got free ice cream, and also got $10 for some food, which we gave back to the community by feeding the needy.

I highly recommend keeping this in your mind when faced with a similar situation.

END.

That's such a sweet story.

I have a kinda lame karma story that happened the other day but I had a good laugh at it. My friend and I were picking up some study food at the grocery store. Well, on the doors on the way out there are these hidden switches, and if you hit one it shuts off the automatic door. Well, my friend decided to hit the switch as we were walking out. About 5 seconds later, someone wasn't paying attention and walked straight into the door, it was hilarious. But at that EXACT moment as the guy walked into the door, my friends bag ripped and his shit fell and broke all over the ground. It was hilarious, bad karma right there.

you will be rewarded, i've done shit like that before and it pays off, i did a philosophy presentation on karma and i am a huge believer

you are a good man.

last week, my friend got jumped by two kids with knives. then two days ago, a kid picked a fight with the leader and beet the shit out of him.

nice work doods. it feels super good to be out and about and see people do good deeds. nice work. ps...you were riding bikes....were they fixies by chance?

Glad it worked for you.

A few weeks ago I participated in this study that they paid you for playing this game. At the end the lady payed me how much money I had won and I went home. I got an email from the lady a few hours later saying she thinks she overpaid me by 5 dollars. I checked my wallet and sure enough there was 5 dollars more than I was supposed to have. So we arranged to meet up so I could give her the 5 dollars. I could have just told her she didn't give me the 5 dollars and kept it but I wanted to be a good person. The next day my computer broke 4 days before a huge project was due and 2 days before a physics exam.

did u do it so you could tell ns? or just for that good ol feeling in your heart?

but thats sweet, right in the steps of chris mcCandless
