so i guess this is alll i can do to get a question answered

which are better volkl ledges or Nothing but trouble, dynastar

im 6'1" 215

i like air but need forgive ness also want to jib but im not so good

noo powder where i live

icy and crud

or post other suggestions under 250

thx to alll who posted helpfully in first thread karma

i'd try bluehouse mr's, they'll do well on the crud and are also a super sick jib ski, if you go before october 3rd you can get 09 skis for 275, you should get the 179's. also maybe try invaders if you're able to ski a symmetrical ski out of the park, but for your price range the mr's are a steal and a good match, i would say anthems but they're too pricey for you

i think he is a little heavy for MRs. check out volkl walls, line chronics, armada ar6 or pipe cleaners, moment reno jibs, or fischer addict pros

are you down with last years skis, are you down with used skis? because you can get almost any old or used park ski for 250. in that case you could really broden your ski list... so lets see, anthems, walls(as previously stated), or even the AR6. you could also look bluehouse, but not that those and the anthems have a softer flex.
note also that the chronics for next year have a sick base design, so look into those if you can find them cheap

ur a big guy. u need somethin under ur feet that has some balls man.

the walls are the only skis you mentioned that you should be looking at. even if u get a "stiff" park ski, at 215 pounds u will push it around easily.

look at 07 08 models....

chronic-stiff enough to support you, still a sick park ski that can hold that edge on the ice.

wall- as mentioned above

public enemy- this is my #1 choice for you. it has a lil more width to be solid, stiff enough torsionally to ski the ice, but still managable enough to jump and jib with.

now as far as the cost goes, i highly doubt u will find something that is PROPERLY SUITED for you under or at 250, i would budget for something more like 350 and even that is still a lil unrealistic unless u find a stellar deal.(which there are on the net)

if u wanna save money try and look for used skis, but keep in mind what i said, u have to much weight and power behind you to ski something like the nothing but trouble, even if it is 250$. good luck man!

don't get the nothing but troubles, whatever you do. they are a very poorly made ski, trust me. i know some kids who have them and they hate them.

+Karma to you for actually telling your size and what/where you ski! I would go Line Blends if I were you. You can still get last years for close to your price range. Some say they are too stiff but you will flex them nicely. I think the average skier weight is like 150... at least that is what it seems like... So yeah I would go for the 08 Blends.

ur a big guy def go with walls my shop sells them there so sick well built even if topsheet chips thats only cosmetic i woudnt go with ledges over dynastars tho cuase there pretty low end ski but its ur clal

idk i have nothing but troubles/troublemakers i didnt really like them too much, theyre a bit much for me to flex personally but im 5'8 and weigh 150 so you may have a bit more luck

out of those two I would pick the ledges, but take a look at line chronics, they might be more what you are looking for

to answer your question directly...the ledges...but id def look into the walls. or if u dont want a true twin, the chronics

as others have state dbefore, look into last year skis.

But I'd say since it sonly icy and crud where you live, an ar6 would do well, or the rossingol ghetto. Both are great skis, I skied the ghettos last year and loved them.

4frnt STLS a sick ski those people say r really floppy and have to stomp ur landings but ur heavy enought they wont slide out from under u id check em out

i'd suggest used last years ar6 or wall i'm sure you could find a couple pairs for sale in the buy/sell/trade forum
