Karhu skis?

hey ive heard about these skis and at www.karhu.com they say that they are telmarking skis, since they are made in the same facotry as line they look a lot like the lines and i am wondering if they are making downhill skis anybody know about this?

they are pretty much the same - the head designer, cant reme ber his name, ut he does the shapes and flex patterns for both line and karhu, so there is next to no difference. in fact the karhu jak was first to get the 172 and 192 lengths, which is why you can get hose in the mothership this year.

 
karhu is a big ski manufacture, they also make a buncha low end burton boards. They have a full tele twin line-up, quite light, must be easy breakable

of course you can use tele ski's with a down-hill set-up. Tele ski's are usually lighter, more flexible, and have an indent in the back to allow for skins (but not always) but really ski manufactures' make the same ski's but they just throw different top sheets on and market them differently. Best bet is to go to a good ski shop and talk to some one who knows there sh*t, and get the low down
