Kanye West's views on wiggers

I think just because you are white doesn't mean you can't rap...let your talents go where they want to go, don't force yourself to do a certain type of music because your skin tone is lighter.
 
what if you grew up in a ghetto area where you can't dress with lacoste and such and your not trying to stick out???
 
well if white people didnt buy into the whole hip/hop scene then they would probably have no money, therefore it would not exist.

im white and i completely agree with him. and for whoever said what if you grew up in the hood and your hwite, he said thats cool because you grew up in the culture. he is talking about the suburban white kids
 
Clear and simple, kanye west is an idiot. Any half-intelligent person out there shouldn't care about a word that comes out of his mouth. Because it's all recycled garbage that he read in some magazine.

Right now he's trying to pull whatever publicity stunt he can to get his name out there, because he knows the more exposure he gets = the more record sales.

theres definitely nothing wrong with those who appreciate and enjoy hiphop culture dressing and acting in a way that reflects that. I'm frinds with a rich jewish kid who dresses and acts ghetto but he is a super nice guy and by far the most knowledgable person in terms of underground hiphop artists and history that i know. yes there are 'wanksters' out there who use black culture to try and act tough and obviously these guys are big fags, but you dont need to grow up poor or black to qualify as a legitimate hiphop fan.
 
I agree with Ghost and the guy above me. I hate Kanye for his most recent fiascos with Bush and the radio thing with DAvey D. Kanye's an ignorant bafooon. What he doesn't realize is that those white boys acting black are 1/3 of the cd sales that he makes. No shit, white people who act "black" as Kanye says is retarted, but just as stupid for Kanye to call it "acting black" thats reverse racism as I see it. If I called his music black music, he would go into the whole "what do you mean black music". Fuck Kanye! He makes awesome music, but is a total hater. This guy needs to learn how to act in public and grow the fuck up.
 
Let's see... He makes a comment about how Bush doesn't like black people, then makes this statement on white people should stick to white people's music... Looks to me he's just a fucking douche bag looking to get some attention drawn towards him because his career sucks soo bad.
 
i find it funny that he released a CD about a month ago, and now look, he's popping up everywhere. publicity anyone? I hope this is bullshit and that anyone doesn't think this way but think he actually does, and yes it is sad. he is a toolbag

There just as good as any black dj. Skin tone shouldnt have anything to do with what music you listen too. Though it is true most white people cant rap. And they try to be tough. Though there are good white mc's. So dont say white people cant listen to hip hop!

Who the fuck would want to be a 'Wigger' anyway. I have no desire to associate or define myself by a cultural identity that is locked in ignorence and poverty. Surely most of us feel some pangs of compassion for the less fortunate but it certianly doesnt make me want to walk, talk, and act like something im not.

why the hell would you want to dress/act/talk like you're trash from a ghetto? white or black or green, it doesn't matter... the ghetto 'gangsta' lifestyle is defined by poverty and pure ignorance of what is socially accepted to be a good citizen. and they are, in fact, TRASH. they make their money by talking (and by talking, i mean that SHIT they call 'rapping') about disobeying the law. it's 'gangsta' to carry a gun illegally. it's 'gangsta' to smoke/sell drugs. it's 'gangsta' to run with a gang and participate in pointless violence.

why would anyone, like i said.. white or black or whatever, want to associate themselves with that lifestyle? it just makes the rest of society look down upon them.. and they have a right to, because they create better lives for themselves and care about things in this world that actually matter.

i respect black people who get a job, and thrive in society by fitting in and obeying the law. FUCK the rest of them.
 
Uh Bush doesn't care about minorities or poor people. You can't dispute that. Just look at his domestic policy. Also, he's never met with the NAACP or any other minority groups. That's pretty amazing. But thats not the point.

Kanye is a total douche though, I read an interview with him and he comes off as the most arrogant, egotistical jackass. But his "career sucks so bad?" What planet are you living on?
