If you want to put it that way, then yes. He wanted do do something different to express his feelings about loosing his mom and getting douched on by the girl he loved. He made the entire album using an 808 Synth machine, because its old school and dope, and AutoTune, because he knows hes not that great of a singer. It should not be compared to his Hip-hop albums. I give him props for going out of his comfort zone and trying something different. Its not like hes going to be putting out another album like that, shit, I couldn't really care if he put out another hip-hop album as long as he keeps producing sick beats. Remember peeps, Kanye is a Producer.
