Do any of you know how good the seths are in the park. Because they have a good flex but i dont know how good they will be

How big are you? What size were you looking at? What is your skill level? All questions that can lead to much more specific advice on skis when asking the general NS population.

this should be moved to the 'ski equipment' forums. you will get a lot more responses there. make a new post or hope a mod moves this soon. regarding your post, i really don't know anything about seths

I've never skied them, but they are pretty wide, and that usually means good stability on rails and landing jumps, but not as nimble in the pipe and spinning on to rails.

you're looking at the 169? grow a pair. i thought you were "advanced" or whatever, so don't buy snowblades.

i'm 5'9", 155lbs and the 179 SV is the shortest pair of boards i ride.

That's a dumb response have you tried skiing a shorter ski, it's more maneuverable more fun easier to spin. I'm bigger than you and the only skis I have around 179 are powder skis.

I would say the 169 seths would be good for you if your skiing 70% BC and 30% park

They make a pretty good park ski. The width is nice on rails, they aren't too damn heavy, the flex isn't too stiff. They carve groomed snow fairly well. Of course they are sweet in powder. Really good all around. If I only had one ski for everything I'd probably go with Seth's, but if I was looking for park only they wouldn't be my frist choice.

I think the 179 would probably be best for you. get the bindings mounted further forward for park, at least +5cm ahead of mid-sole,

1st if u do get seths go 179

2nd this year the seths have a minny rocker so im not sure how they performe in the park

but the earlier versions were awsome in the park, mush better then the PE
