K2 warrenty experiences

Ok just wanna get a feel for how good K2 is with the warranty on there skis cause one my of PE's that i had bought last year decided to snap where it was drilled today, i wasnt even jumping or railing, given i have beaten on them pretty bad but there was no cracks or anything until today so im hoping they'll help me out

this might sound like a stupid question but i've never warenteed skis befor and was wondering what do you do if your ski brakes???? do you call the company directly or go to the shop you got them from or what???

line also has great warranties my dad bought a pair of their demo skis (FX 7.3's) so he called them about one of the skis delaming it was only about 2 inches long and 1/8 of an inch or less apart but they said send them back and a few weeks later a pair of assign mtx pro's arived at our doorstep ski companies are the best for warranties good people

i had one pair not warranteed, after about 5 weeks of skiing, they were completely broken. then i had a pair that was well over a year old and just delammed a little bit, but for some reason they warranteed that.

idk if a company will warrenty if its a break from a binding hole but never hurts to try.
