how come they have cooler graphics? not that it matters but they are bad ass, like the piste pipe , and hippy stinx (sp)

Outside of the binding interface the skis (i think) are the same as their respective buddies in the regular lineup....

would be awsome to see inserts in regular skis....you out there Schmies??? I

imagine - - travel with just a number three posi driver, several skis in one bag and one pair of binders...

like surfing with an FCS system....

k2 made my dream come true with a metal laminate twin tip this year....now we need INSERTS!!!

 
be careful what you wish for... while inserts are sick, they need to be well done. i had tons of problems with the k2 inserts, namely that they were about 2 feet back of center and the screws continually loosened and even popped out

Ya I know what you mean about the mounting location it would be nice if they provided a six or eight pack mounting system so you could set it back for deep days or center it for regular days. Has anyone noticed any inserts on K2 tele skis that weren't even or crooked? Just wondering cause machines aren't perfect either.

 
Is it possible to put regular alpine bindings on telemark skis or are they strickly for telemark use only because some of the graphics on the telemark skis pwn the alpine skis.
 
you shouldnt be buying because of graphics, nd i dont think the cores of the tele could handle alpine bindings because their not designed for them, correct me if im wrong
 
I really have no idea but from my guess the tele skis are different then the alpine ones, so it probably wouldnt be a good idea to mount em up with alpine equip. Ive never skied k2 tele though (besides public enemys) just G3 and now line.
 
i have the 06-07 piste pipe with Cobra R8's, and they fucking suck, they dont hold an edge, dont do pow well, and cant handle crud. basically all they work well for are them rail slider things, as they cant handle big landing.
 
do you tele once in awhile or are you fulltime freeheeler? Because I know some brosefs that totally dig the piste pipes and use em as with the hippy stix as there whole quiver. And they fuckin rock on em. Too bad the graphics such on em though.
