Ski like shit? Consider the fact you probably had a demo binding (major flat spot in the flex) that was mounted way back at midsole mark as most demos are. I guarantee you would have a different experience just skiing a friend's pair.

The Silencer has the footprint of the original PE, which is 80mm underfoot. The cap constuction gives it a slightly softer flex than the sidewall construction and reduces weight because you haven't all of the ABS material.
