i know they're a cheaper ski.. but would they be a good ski for in the park? anyone have them or hear about them? how are they? id be ridding the park most of the time..
theyre cheaper but i dont think k2 would cut back on the quality of the skis. they are more of an intermediate park/all mountain ski that are shaped after the old public enemies. i know that they are an 80 waist and softer/more forgiving than the old enemies and the newer extremes. my friend got silencers the year the model was released and he really likes them, but hes not any sort of expert.
if youre trying to find cheap skis for mostly park, these are a good choice.
i had this past years silencers and i loved them as a park ski. good combination of stiffness, butteryness and pop. buttt i blew out the edge in one season and there are like 3 other places on the skis where the edge is about to come off. that was kind of a bummer but while they lasted they were a great ski.
what? they are a super lively ski. i have them they are simply made but great ski. great pop, light, good for learning new tricks and perfecting the old ones. one prob is not durable at all. im sure you have heard this. they dont chip but scratch deep when you hit a rock, rail, tree, the other ski that kind of stuff.
im thinking of getting a pair for next year, because my disorderlys are heavy/stiffish and the edge blew out, and also i have old fujatives, drilled right thru, and i dont wanna risk having those get water logged, so yea.
I had silencers last year. There not bad at all, good ski and held up against everything. I picked up a pair of disorderlys to oneup my park skiing though but overall the silencers are great
