K2 Silencer?

Hey guys, im just really curious about the k2 silencers. they have a pair at my ski shop in my size, but i might wait for them to go on sale and get them at the end of the season when the shit goes 50% off. how would you compare them to the salomon foils? i currently have foils and im just curios if the silencers are a better performing park ski. Im also wondering if they are lighter than the foils and if they are softer or stiffer than the foils. thanks

never skied the foil, but i have 179 silencers mounted center - unfortunately i have to say i'm not too impressed. they are good for speed and pipe it seems, but buttering is kinda tricky and they aren't very forgiving if you land funny (i land backseat all the time). not to mention the top sheet is chipping away like hardened chocolate ice cream dip. i'm wishing that i had picked up a pair of fugatives instead :\
