K2 Silencer

Is this the new standard for ski testing? Because i would rather ride them first and then judge the ski as opposed to "flexing" them in your shop.
 
Idk k2 was always good for me. Had PEs, and i clearly bubbled the base on my own fault, but they sent me a new pair anyways
 
yeah im pretty sure its similar to the old pe's with cap construction instead. so the flex is different. its inbetween the fuji's and pe's for stiffness. its one of if not the best skis ive ridden, the flex seems like last years stl's, mabye a little stiffer, mostly cause its just about as hard to butter and its a smooth flex. but overal they feel most like ar5's. they definatly are better than any other ski ive ridden for jumps easily.

 
not well made?

how can you tell that from how it flexes, do you make your own skis? the fujative is capped as well, does that ski suck?

personally i applaude K2 for making a good twin for the price concious consumer. personally i tested that ski last year and it was great. too soft for my liking but definately an awesome ski for the price.

 
you can not say that k2 skis arent well made

i dont care weather you like them or not

but they are very good quality skis

the silencer im shure is not as good as PE or fuja

but its priced accordingly
 
If you're going to hate on K2, I'd go and get a little more informed on why one should hate on them. To me, they seem like a pretty solid company with super sick skis and they had enough extra money from selling their super sick skis to buy Line, so they must be doing something right.
 
ive been riding them for a bit..i liike them a lot..there light..pretty stiff..i havent ridden them on jumps but personally i like them on rails...theyve held up fine
 
Yea come on people lets not be hating on K2...its probably the msot ridden ski out there and they make high quality stuff. My PE's have lasted me 2 and a half season (i got them late in teh season) and they took al they shit i gave them and theyre still working fine. Annnnnnd i only paid like 230 for them at some shop..it was that years ski only i got them in march not december.
