Is it a good ski i wanna get it in a 169. iam 5 foot 6 inches tall and abaout 200 lbs im a pretty big kid i was wondering if it would be a good ski for me
 
yea i wanna get em but i dont know how to do this do i send a check or cash in an envalope or what cause i wanna know if they are a good ski for me
 
I saw these skis actually at a demo and there fucking nasty! the graphics are so chill with a dope like holo gun on them, i demoed them and i seriously thought were the best skis i have ever riden
 
you might be a bit heavy for how soft they are, not calling you fat or anything but the ski is just REALLY soft, i would go with a Public Enemy if a were you, you just would probably notice that you get a little more performance out of them. So go with a PE if you want to stick with K2.
 
They are not soft, they are just a bit softer the PEs, still stiff

And they are cheap because they use the old PEs mold, (so they didnt need to build new molds) with cap construction, but apparantly still realy durable
 
Well I'm not getting fat, cuz I sycle everyday and I also train on waterjump almost every day. HA.

And my post was more a joke than fact
 
Is it just me or dose the Silencer look way narrower than that Fuj's even though there's only 5mm waist difference.

don't get a 169 if you are pushing 200. its short and you will probably be too much for that size. no offense. get a bigger size
 
You're special, and I thought you would like those more. But seriously, some are black, some are white. Most of ours are white. If you'd prefer the white bases, you can send those back and I'll trade them for you.
 
thanks alot man. this year i went all black with my suit..my poles..and my skis so i was stoked to see the black base. i find it looks alot better.
 
at your size (and I'm not bustin' on you) I would go with the 179. I haven't skied them but from what I've heard, they are like the OG PE.
 
yeah man, im your height(5'6"), and weigh 140....and im riding a 176...the 169, i dont think will preform for you...i think you'll be overkill for a short ski....try to go with the 179 if you can...
 
yeah theyre skinnier, but i just got a pair of silencers and they just have some fat tips

they definitely look sick but i havent been able to ski on them yet due to the shortage of snow on thee east coast

mine are mounted at the recommended spot so since theyre not symmetrical i dont know if it would be a good idea to mount them center
