K2 Silencer v. Atomic Twins and sizing up...

So I finally got the time to sit down and page through the new FS Gear Guide. I'm thinking that new skis are a must this year (the 120cm '04ish Line 1260's aren't cutting it). One major problem though, I'm 16. That makes me poor because I have to pay off the new car and works limited because I'm in college too. So, naturally, I was drawn to that "Best Bang for the Buck" list which is loaded with chick skis. Even though I have a real lanky frame, I'm not totally sure I could live with some of those graphics. The Silencers are a primo choice to be sure because they look nice and are some bargain mo-fos ($375). For twenty-five bucks more the Twins look tight on my tight budget, and got better overall ratings. I need to know what you think of the two and what length I should go with. BTW those are 155, 164, and 173 for the Twins and 156, 169, and 179 for the Silencers.

Here are the stats:

I'm 5'10"ish and about 125lbs. (THIN)

I live in Ohio: think tables and rails, and don't even dare to take powder into consideration.

Thanks in advance.

173 twins would prob be good for your hight and weight, and are better than the silencer if you can afford them. You might want to look into the invader too, or even a pair of last years skis. you can find a pair of really good skis from last year for under $300

Many thanks.

I'd grab a pair from last year if I found a good deal I guess I have to look around a bit. What else is good besides eBay?

yep, both are really fun park skis and can be found for under $200, i can't remember where but i think i saw invaders for $180
