K2 sight durability

Anyone know how durable the 2014 k2 sight skis are? (I have a pair and am thinking of using them as a urban/summer setup ski so this question is mainly concerning the edges)

Hitting rails is bad for skis. Even skis that are made for it. I think you should be more concerned with sliding on metal. I have had a few turf summer set ups and had no issues with the edges of my skis. Just wax them up and dry them off at the end of the day so that they dont rust.
