K2 schizo inserts filling

Hi,

I've got pair of 09/10 Kung Fujas with schizo inserts (premade holes for marker schizo bindings).

I just get my new Marker Tours F12 bindings and I want to mount them on my good old Kung Fujas skis. Has anyone tried fill the holes and drill new one (thinking about -2cm from center).

i had hellbents with schizos, schizos blew up like typical marker bindings, then I proceeded to fill and center mount deadbolts. You'll have zero problems
 
why would you fill them? Its not like they will let water into the core. Plenty of people ride the K2s with the inserts and dont use the schizos.
 
No need to fill. They are like heli-coils.
I know mounting a Duke on a pair of 189 obSETHeds, you would at bare minimumhave to mount them 2.5 forward of the 'Traditional' mark on the ski.
F12s would probably be similar on the Fujas.
 
To avoid hitting the inserts. BUT if you do screw into the flashing on those inserts, that screw is in there pretty tight!
 
So schizo inserts are not in the true center of ski? I want to mount new binding slightly behind true center (2-3cm) so is it possible to mount a binding there?

Put a jig/template on it, centrepunch all the holes, see how you're placed. I'm sure you'll be able to find a spot somewhere that avoids the inserts and still gives you a mount where you want it to be.
