K2 Revivals or Salomon Suspects?

I really need some help on which ski to get, as I am getting one of them tomorrow! If you can give any tips, info, opinions, or anything else it would be appreciated!

Revivals come with Marker Squires and Suspects come with STH 12s.

Type of skier: Aggressive/Advanced

Mountain: Big White

What I ski: 65% park, 35% freeride

Height: 5'8

Weight: 130lbs.

They would both be good, the suspects are really good in the park on larger jumps and rails. They have a stiff flex and regular camber. They have so much pop but and not the most buttery ski. The K2's will be some what wider so will be better in any powder. Add to that the tip rocker and they should float much better then the suspects. They do not carve quite as well as the suspect as there not as stiff, but they will be a bit more playfull in the park, so if you like rails allot and are pretty buttery you will prob prefer the K2's

Overall if you like big jumps and hard carving get teh suspect, if you prefer messing around on rails and jumps and want some powder performance get the K2. I would get the STH on either I prefer those to marker bindings, but if its a package the markers are good, just not as good as the STH.

Hope that helps

In my opion the STH's are better. I had jesters and now SH16's and I much prefer the STH, much better boot hold thanks to the adjustable toe, and there bombproof, they look brand new after 80 days where as the jesters got pretty beaten up. But as I said either will be great I just personally prefer the STH

Disclaimer: I've never owned or ridden Suspects. Simply going by the the threads I read every single day about their durability.

From what I've heard, they are one of the best park skis, just incredibly weak and fragile. Edges SUCK. They won't hold into the ski for shit. Edge crack or missing edges are not uncommon in the first month of moderate park use.

Also, I've heard the STH12s are fairly plasticy. An earlier post was comparing to the STH16s, but those are more robust and don't have the same fragile feeling.

I would recommend the Revivals. I've heard a lot of good things about them.

One of the skis I was looking at picking up is I didn't get such a good deal on my A-bangs.
