k2 reps assholes???

Has any one else come across this old aged k2 rep? This guy is the biggest asshole. At the 2005 demo days for shop employees in Washington he banned us from his tent when we scratched up some Made'n AK. He got outraged when we told him we took them off the groomed runs. The next day he did the same thing to a buyer from a big shop..that dude isnt going buy k2's next season for his shop. That k2 rep is everything that is wrong with skiing!! BOOOOO! SAY NO TO K2.

derick is our rep, and he's by far the coolest rep in our area (colorado)

I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.

not cool the dynastar rep in calgary is the same way, complete fucken knob. to test a maiden AK you can do cruisers on fucken groomers, that ridiculous, you shoulda broken that ski in half.

Dude, the person you are mad about is not even the Northwest Rep. It is a guy who was working the demo for our rep becasue he just tore his ACL...The K2 reps are awesome, they all kick ass at skiing, hook people up, and know their shit. It's too bad you screwed up the one demo Maiden we have for the entire northwest, but at least he let you ski it. Don't talk shit about reps, you don't know them and your out of your Element Donnie.

 
SnowPimp1080. Do you even know what you did to those skis? You completely trashed/destroyed them. They are sitting in my garage right now retired. And that OLD K2 rep thats an asshole is my Dad. You just ruined 'his' skis, and the skis that I planned to buy off him after the demos were over. Like said above, you ruined the one and only pair of Made'N AK's out there for people to demo. I was planning on skiing on those this weekend up at crystal. You better just be lucky he didnt make you pay for them. Do you actually think that you should have been allowed to demo more skis...yea right! If you wanted to trash around on a pair of skis, you should have tried out the pair of fujatives that were up there.

Why do you all feel so priviledged that you can damage property that does not belong to you and not even feel the slightest bit remorseful?

Jeez people, just because a company allows you to try their product does not give you the right to treat it worse than your own stuff.

Companies DON'T have to provide demo gear. We can all go back to the days when the closest you get to actually trying a limited production ski is reading about it.

It is called respect.

Look it up.

Learn it.

Apply it to your everyday life.

Shootr, thanks for tellin' all how it is. I am a rep for K2 in Colorado and there is a certain point when things (trashin skis) just isn't cool. Do ya really need to slid rails on demo skis to see how they perform. Do ya really need to ski over rocks and through shitty mogul fields to see how good a ski really is...I don't think so. Do people realize how expensive a demo fleet of 80 pairs cost? most likely not. To the point...don't fuk up demo skis and don't give the rep a bad rap.

The reps should be there for the shops no matter what. The shops make your goddamn business. So what if a kid scratches up a pair of skis. Don't whine about it, it happens. If it weren't for the shops you'd be without a job. Yea boof**hoo if you can't buy the skis off daddy, suck it up and get a pro form or employee discount.

Everything has already been said by Derek (I think.. the Colorado K2 rep) and a couple others, but DAMN. Respect other people's property. That's messed up. Like they said, everyone in the northwest who wants to demo them has to use those skis. You should be apologizing instead of complaining.

Boy I guess it really aids a rep's job in helping the stores they deal with when the tools that they are provided with to generate interest are destroyed by patrons who most likely won't be purchasing the product.

Seriously, some kid who takes a ski like the AK Maiden over a rock feild is the last and most least likely purchaser of said product. He could not care less about the ski or the way it skis, he simply had the opportunity to ride a ski of it's caliber and felt that the best use of this opportunity was to trash the ski.

Our K2 Rep is pretty damn cool. He may shave his legs, but hes got a girlfriend, so that clears up that concern. But Wade and Squires are two cool dudes.

I think we need a little clarification on how 'trashed' these skis actually were - one guy says he put one ding that didnt even hit the core in em, somebody else says theyre bad enough to be unusable and sitting in a garage. reasonable base damage is not THAT hard to fix, p-tex works wonders... I could understand if he really (really) trashed the edges or something, but other than that, base damage is repairable, and demo skis are going to get beat up, its just what happens to demo skis. Lets hear the whole story, because somebody here has got to be lying....

Todd Bracher hooks me with the latest K2 shwag and he is the man. Never met a cooler guy in my life, adn his job rules, he just travels with all the pro's/pro racers/pro mogulers and makes sure they got good skis and listens to their feelings about new skis and shit. That would rule

rob the rep in calgary is a seriously rad guy. woulda gone for a run or two with him at fernie over new years except he was catskiing the day before and teh lazyass was too tired to last the whole day. grrrrrr haha.
