I've search barred a bunch of threads about sizing for the k2 recoil. There are plenty. Most of the threads I've found are good until somebody has a different opinion and the thread dies because someone gets karma raped/trolled hard. (you all know how this site works haha)
Anyways, I'm looking at getting some older 2011/12 recoils (cheaper, and same construction as 2013/14 it seems.) Because they are two seasons old I'm having a dilemma on which size to buy. I am 5' 10", 195ish pounds (pretty stocky), and hit both rails and jumps but am only about a 2nd or 3rd year park skier. A shop in my area has the 174 cm for $299. However, online, I found the 179 for $362. I'm a bit worried about the 5 cm difference. Based on my height/weight and price point, which skis do you suggest? I'm on some old ass silencers right now that are 179's, they are getting beat to shit, and I am trying to get at least a little bit of rocker in there so as to be branching out to get some newer skis or whatever. Help would be appreciated...and obviously +K for help.
