Want a ski like the reckoner, buttery, playful, light, around 184-186cm.

Just need something more durable. What's the best option?

Dude they're completely different one more vishnu uttering out of you and I'm gonna freak

He said buttery, playful, and light

seems like wets would be perfect

I have the same problem, I’d recommend faction 3.0, blend but those are pretty soft, and if you can afford them the Jeffrey 102s are your best option

been thinking bout making this thread

like above id probably think jefferys?? or mangos or wide/plus maybe

on3ps are too expensive, and wides are too rockered for my liking

don't know honestly

Honestly there are so many alternatives it’s hard to choose, might be a good idea to go to a demo day and see which ones stand out to you

I unironically think vishnu wides would be a good alternative. Both skis are soft, light, decently wide, except the wides won't blow up after several days of hitting rails

I had the same problem, I broke a pair and a half of 102s and finally just gave up with warranty’s, it got pretty annoying.

the skis felt and skied pretty unique, I loved the shit out of them. I tried several different pair during a demo day and the line sfb seemed similar but also is not very durable, they’re was a pair of Icelandic’s that skied really well but I don’t remember the name of them. I finally gave in and got some V’s wides and honestly, I love them just as much. Def not the same but kinda gave me a similar vibe

Fauna Pioneer sounds similar to what you’re looking for. Only question is mount point. Idk how far people have mounted it forward or what mount you’re looking

Jeffs are a good bit stiffer than reckoners, mangos would be closer.

I'd say wides would be pretty close, never ridden them though.

give'r (only 182), upper, 105, wides, allplays, deviation lp 100 (only 182 and don't know much about flex profile),

are reckoners not durable? I just copped a pair of 92’s (these go fucking craaaazy with rasta pivots) and spent the day on them. wth happened to yours, these seem pretty solid.

Depends on the reckoner, I got 112s that are pretty similar to my jeffereys. But my gf had 102s which were soft as hell

This type of skis are just not durable(light and wide). Someone mentioned line sfb’s, I had the -19 model, most fun ski ever had, but awful weak, weaker than reckoners, but after sfb the reckoners felt like shit. Now that I have got used to reckoners, I also like them pretty much but after 1.5 seasons the other ski is pretty much done from the other side, fixed it once but that didn’t hold up. Lots of rails done and I’m a heavy rider, so I think they are not that weak as people tell you here. Skinnier skis have hold up better in my experience so thinking about poachers also, but not sure if I want to loose that playful feeling.

Also the reckoners have the same beefy edges, Twintech Side Wall and Carbon Boost Braid as poacher.
