K2 Reckoner 102 2021&2022

I bought the K2 Reckoner 102 2021 and it started to delaminate after about 14 skidays and then the edge broke...

Someone got the same problems with the skis?

And now im thinking to buy the new model hopin it will last longer then the first model...
 
Their the same ski but the 2022 graphics [tag=109505]@bradwalters[/tag] absolutely killed. It’s really just preference at that point
 
I drove my Reckoner completely to scrap after about 20 days. Have him now yesterday also sent in to see what I get?

But I mean if you get a new pair every time you send it in , then I'm fine. And I mean what els do they wane do with the leftovers from 2021
 
I put almost 150 days on my 102s last season and absolutely hammered on them. Other than some topsheet wear at the tips and tails mine are rock solid. Definitely reach out to K2 or the shop where you got them.

Also - if you can get the same ones for free run those! Nothing against the 2022 ones, i love them, but not many people have the silver ones and I personally think having the first year of a ski model is rad.

The skis are identical in regards to construction.

Yeah thats what i thought too... right step from k2 to bring a softer jibbier ski!!
 
Jo ich habs selbe Problem mit den Reckoner... Hast du die bei K2 bestellt oder bei nem externen Shop? Überlege sie auch zurückzugeben, aber lohnt sich das oder waren die nach paar Tagen wieder gechippt?
 
super bummed my reckoners started delaminating in 3 spots after about 5 days. Looks like K2 is going to warranty them which is massive, but gunna be out some skis for a while. and I have a weird emotional connection to these skis so I really don't wanna get rid of them or get next years model hahaha

Did you do the warranty process through a shop or directly with k2? My edge started to pull out after 2 hours of park skiing (no edge cracks). They clearly have signs of rail use so I'm thinking it's not even worth pursuing since rails void the warranty.

I bought them through Backcountry so they're helping with the warranty process. I still have yet to send them in because I'm being a lazy fuck. I'm also concerned that if for some reason K2 claims that hitting rails is causing them to delaminate, then I won't receive a warranty and then I'll be fucked with skis that are falling apart and I now have to remount them in the same drill holes because they need to be removed to send in...

Might just call it a loss and pack some epoxy in and see how long they last. Super fun ski, not the durability I expected out of k2 though. My 4 year old shredditors that I beat to shit are in better condition edge wise.

Very suprised with what people have been saying about the reckoners. My marksman have lasted three seasons and only had two edge cracks and no delam just some top sheet chips. Wonder if the new reckoners will have better durability
