K2 rant helmet?

WE just got them in today at the shop.

Orange hunter camo, white, and matte black. A sick helmet indeed

Too bad i dont wear a helmet
 
Yeah I was trying them on today at jibij, you really have to wear a beanie under it, but it covers your goggles better than a baker.. and it looks dooope.
 
how low does it sit on your head? cause in some pics it looks like the plastic stuff cuts off high up, and some it looks like it goes lower. like whats it like compared to a hifi?
 
I'm not sure it sits lower than a hifi.. I've had one of those too. But it def sits lower than the baker.. and the brim hangs over a bit more. Its steezy. Pictures of the matte grey don't do it justice.. sick!

we got them in the shop. they are ok looking, but as for fit, they are as basic as they come. shitty fit and no venting. if all you gots 50 bucks, meh, but if you want a good lid, get a G9 or something. seriously.
 
^I'm not too much of a fan of shiny, I'd say grey for me. But honestly, go with what color matches your shit. Goggles, jacket, etc.
 
yeah they look so awesome in the pictures.  i just hope they arent like really small fitting or sit high on your head, cause then it could look really gay.
 
nice i just ordered the white one. guess i need a nice hat for underneath, seems like thats standard with this helmet, although its got no vents and must be pretty warm anyway.
 
K2 claims that the small vents on the front are enough to channel air in the front and out the back (they have some special name for it.) Curious to see whether it actually works though. I want one really bad. I'll probably go with the white (my suit is all brown) and just scuff it up and/or paint it.
 
i have the ear pads but they take all the style out. if you plan on skiing in cold weather, i would maybe recommend a second helmet(giro makes warm helmets)
 
damn i just got mine and it looks pretty gay. like the helmet sits way on top of your head.  the helmet alone looks sweet, but imagine it sitting like way on top of your head it just looks retarded.  whatever though, ill just dremel out the foam in the top so it sits really low, then it should look sick.

 
I don't know, those pics looked nice. Were you wearing goggles and/or

a beanie with it? Just about every helmet looks like it sits up high

if you're not wearing goggles.
 
yeah its just that like the sides of the helmet dont go past the top of your ears and it just looks way goofy. the helmet alone looks awesome, they just needed to make it so the sides go down further and so it sits lower.
 
I took the padding out that goes along the middle. Im not sure what size my head is but this helmet is X-Large, and its actually a bit big on me. Now that Ive been riding with it for a few months, I hate it. the wind blows through that hole in the front and blows the helmet off your head so then the strap chokes you. GO WITH BERN BAKER.
 
I don't like mine at all. It sits way up on your head, and it's hard to keep on. It just doesn't cover enough of your head, so it falls off. Plus, after a week of skiing in it, the foam has come loose and I have to send it back.
